We have found that there are many people who are not able to make it to an office due to illness or other limitations and would welcome having a counselor meet them in their home. Remember, depression and anxiety are not an inevitable part of aging and can lead to great difficulties if left untreated. Spiritual and Religious Needs: Grief and loss issues associated with illness, death and other life transitions cut deeply into the soul and often require reassurance and support beyond psychotherapeutic counseling. I have experience treating stress related disorders, anxiety, life changes, and substance abuse. I have obtained a specialty certification from Simmons College in Trauma. I have experience working with people who are dealing with a wide range of issues including various traumas, abuse, tragic loss, stress, or a life changing event. I have experience working with first responders, nurses, therapists, children, adolescents, and adults. I offer a highly supportive environment where deep healing and growth can take place. I offer Sandplay therapy which is a non-verbal form of therapy that offers a safe and protected space where the complexities of the inner world are explored and integrated into the psyche for emotional healing. I am one of only two therapists certified in this in Ma. I offer EMDR and EMDR Equine therapy which was named one of only two therapies for the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder. I am certified in both levels 1 & 2+. I am also trained in Advanced Ego State Therapy. Although I have training in trauma modalities, my focus is to help you reach your goals.
